The steam does look surreal, almost creepy how it's fading into nothingness so perfectly - especially with the moonlight blending in. I like how the picture contains so many different elements and forms and shapes and colors - the wibbely greyish steam, the sharp black trees, the blurred moon, the grey ground and the blue sky - it's all not exactly complementary and almost seems off, but then again.... it isn't. It's nature - so it's perfectly balanced, somehow it all fits in the end.
