Artist's Comments

An image of patience and timing. I was on my stomach for long time as I inched my way closer to these two birds standing on the beach. When one of them flew, my initial reaction was to retreat and look for a new opportunity...but I could tell that something was up. The female was acting a bit strange...agitated...but not by my presence. Within a couple minutes the male returned with a fish as a present.

That's what your mom said, before I shaved her back! ATHF

Is there some tread left on those tires, or is it just like throwing a hot dog down the hallway? Family Guy

What an amazing shot. All that patience paid off in spades. I've never seen a tern at rest before.
