After my conference ended each day there was just enough time to dash out of Tucson to Saguaro National Park. These petroglyphs are likely from the Hohokam people...maybe up to 1,000 years old.

The composition is amazing! The layers of types of elements really makes for the beauty of the photo. A wonderful way to photograph those petroglyphs.

Those petroglyphs are really cool. I'm wondering why the people were drawing pictures of sea life in the middle of the desert, though. xD

I'm not sure there is any sea life depicted...I see a deer, sun, tortoise shell, and perhaps a snowflake (although I'm sure it's something else).
