Wow, I had quite a time in Costa Rica. It was just a quick trip that I fit in over Thanksgiving, but it gave me a taste of a gorgeous country. This is one of the 20+ hummingbird species that I saw in Costa Rica. They are so much fun to watch and photograph! I experimented with a multiflash setup for this image...the short flash burst does a good job of freezing the wings. Wish I had more time down there!
